I confess that I wanted to eat many of my Oreo Peanut Butter Brownies.......in one sitting. Thankfully I gave (most of) them away.
How did this change happen? Well, we experienced a death in my husband's family last week, and it changed my perspective. I want to do this with my sisters, and who knows what may happen next year. We all got registered just in time! It's all sold out now!
I confess this run and other future races I have planned should keep me on track and running. I was derailed this past week, but will still be participating in the Coon Dog Day 5k tomorrow. Yes, and entire festival dedicated to the beloved Coon Dog. I've run this route one time - it's hilly, but lots of my TRC buddies will be there, and that's always fun.
Last but not least I confess that I love my sister's new blog 40 by 40. She is on the brink of 40. She wants to do 40 things she's never done before, before she turns 40. She has about 3 years to do this, so it will be a fun and interesting blog. She's an even newer blogger than I am, so give here some blog love, if you are so inclined.
Her very first adventure is going to be to bake a layer cake from scratch (my suggestion ; ) ), and she will be making my Red Velvet Heaven.
What are YOU confessing this week??

oh my goodness...i think i may have gained a pound just reading this post. so much goodness!!
ReplyDeletethanks for linking up!
I am enjoying the weekly confessing! Thanks for hosting.
Deleteoh i went to reply to your comment on my blog, i always like to reply via email and your email address is not enabled.
ReplyDeletedid you know that?
this means that you spend so much time leaving lovely comments on people's blogs and they have no way of responding to a question or thanking you for stopping by or just continuing the conversation...because instead of your email address all they see is "no-reply comment".
sad right?
you can fix that if you like.
just go to your dashboard, click edit profile and click show email address and then click save profile.
easy!!!
and i PROMISE if you change this blogging will get even better and become even more fun!
Thank you so much for telling me that. I had no idea - I just made the change. There is so much to learn in the blog world.
Deletegot your comment about the linky, since you do not have your email enabled i will reply here. :)
ReplyDeleteyou just linked your blog address. so i came over to fix it, since it should be linked to your actual Friday Confessional post. THEN i realized that the post on top was not your confessional AFTER i had "fixed" the link. So then i looked for your confessional post and linked THAT post up. so, it is all fixed now.
(:
Thanks for being patient with me. I was so eager to link-up that I linked before I published my post. I'll remember next time....
DeleteI started running this week--just a 1/2 mile in the morning, but I'm not sure I like it. It's easy to do--right out the front door, but I'm not really a fan of running. However, running fits with the time I have to exercise.
ReplyDeleteIt took a little while for me to get over the hating. But if you do, then you will really like it. And you can burn calories a lot faster running - that was my motivation to start.
DeleteMan, death can make you really motivated. We lost a dog last week and I've been trying to have the most positive outlook; it's been working!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, I'm so sorry about your dog - it's like losing a family member. glad you are keeping positive. Thanks for reading my blog.
DeleteOh my...that cake looks delicous!
ReplyDeleteI'm turning 30 next year, and I've contemplated doing a "30 before 30" list...should be fun!
Have a great weekend!!
It does sound like a neat idea. I'm almost closer to 50, so not sure I want to think about that. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteYay for the Color Run! Maybe we can try to meet up and say "Hi" before or afterward. I know this is a bit of baking blog, but you gotta stop posting all those yummy goodies. =)
ReplyDeleteNow, I'm off to visit your sister's blog and leave some love.
Happy Friday; have a fabulous weekend! Good luck with the race tomorrow.
It would be great to meet you at the Color Run. We are either in the 9:45 or 10:30 heat. Our registrations got mixed up, but since it's not a timed race, I don't think it will matter which one we all end up in. Thanks for stopping by my sister's blog. I appreciate that!
DeleteThank you my dear sweet Caroline for sending your blogging friends my way! I can't wait to make my cake this weekend and share a fun report with everyone on my blog.
ReplyDeleteLOVE YOU!
I love you - and I love comments! Can't wait to hear about your cake! Call me if you need me.
DeleteThose brownies look delish! YUM!
